There's nothing better than AOCC rehearsal nights! You get to the middle of the week, start to flag and then get a wonderful lift singing with Elaine and the choir. It just gives you such a boost and is great fun!

Walking up to the microphone was so frightening, the choir were cheering and I could feel the positive vibes willing me on but I couldn’t catch my breath and when I started to sing my voice cracked. Elaine encouraged me to do it again…….it was better…….and again…….it felt better! I remember my choir friends smiling, clapping, giving me a thumbs up and supporting me, these amazing people that I sing with every Tuesday were behind me wanting me to succeed. I then went on to sing a solo at the concert with Stevenage Lades choir in front of lots of people! I can't tell you how good this experience has been for me.
